Purpose

Resolve a custom target role identifier.

Callback

• Type: Filter.
• Arguments: $result, $resource_identifier.
• Return: the filtered first argument.

Example

add_filter('aam_normalize_role_identifier_filter', function ($result, $resource_identifier) {
    if (empty($result) && $resource_identifier === 'myapp_editor') {

    }

}, 10, 2);

Resolves a custom role alias only when AAM has not already found a role.
