aam_normalize_hook_filter

Purpose

Change a hook rule descriptor before AAM stores or reads it.

Callback

• Type: Filter.
• Arguments: $hook (string or rule array).
• Return: the filtered first argument.

Example

add_filter('aam_normalize_hook_filter', function ($hook) {
    if (is_string($hook) && $hook === 'myapp/old') {
        return 'myapp/new';
    }
    return $hook;
}, 10, 1);

Renames one string descriptor. This filter can also receive a rule array, so check its type before string operations.
